Built by Vets, Backed by Experience, Made for Pet Parents

“I’ve spent over two decades in veterinary medicine—and I’ve seen firsthand how much stress, time, and money pet parents spend just trying to get answers. I started Vetzi because I believe expert advice should be fast, affordable, and available 24/7. Our pets are family. They deserve care that’s as modern and accessible as everything else in our lives.”

Revolutionizing Pet Care, One Click at a Time

Waiting weeks for a vet appointment while your dog paces and whines is stressful for any pet owner, especially when the concern comes up outside normal office hours.

Pet owners in Tampa and across Florida often face this exact situation: a worried pet, a closed clinic, and no clear next step.

We built Vetzi to close that gap. As a Florida-based, vet-owned telehealth platform, we connect pet owners directly with a licensed veterinarian who can assess a concern over video and offer guidance.

From there, our veterinarians help decide whether a pet needs in-person or emergency care, so you are never left guessing about the right next step.

A Vet-Owned Platform, Not a Franchise

Spearheaded by Dr. Azza Diasti-Kennedy, a practicing veterinarian with over two decades of experience in veterinary medicine and business leadership, Vetzi is not a corporate veterinary service organization run by non-clinical owners. It is a vet-owned and vet-operated practice, so clinical judgment sits at the center of every decision we make about the platform.

Dr. Azza remains clinically active outside of Vetzi and personally oversees vet recruitment, partnerships, and content on the platform. You can read more about her background and approach to pet care on her veterinarian bio page.

What We Offer Pet Owners

Vetzi gives pet owners a fast, flexible way to reach a licensed veterinarian without waiting for a traditional appointment slot. Our platform includes video consultations for triage and general guidance, prescription fulfillment through an integrated online pharmacy, behavioral consultations, and nutrition guidance for dogs and cats.

Telehealth works well as a first step for many situations pet owners face, offering faster access to professional guidance, availability when your regular vet’s office is closed, and a way to reduce stress for anxious pets, senior pets, or pets with mobility limitations. It also helps you avoid an unnecessary and costly emergency visit when a concern can be managed at home with proper guidance.

It is worth noting what telehealth cannot replace. According to the American Veterinary Medical Association, a veterinarian-client-patient relationship cannot be established solely through telephonic or electronic means, which is why our veterinarians are direct about when a concern needs an in-person visit rather than a virtual one.

Where We Serve Pet Owners in Florida

Vetzi currently focuses on pet owners in Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, and the Florida Panhandle, with plans to expand statewide over time. Wherever you are in Florida, our goal is the same: give you a straightforward way to reach a licensed veterinarian when your pet needs help and your regular clinic is not an option.

We know pets are family, and waiting on an answer when something feels off is hard on everyone in the house. Vetzi exists so that worry does not have to sit unanswered until the next available appointment. If you want to see how quick answers to common concerns look in practice, our blogs walk through real triage scenarios pet owners bring to us every week, and our FAQs page covers the specific questions pet owners ask most before their first virtual visit.
